Pure breed - lavender araucanas

Araucanas lay a beautiful bluey-green egg. They are one of the rarer chicken breeds and their eggs are very-much sought after (see the blue egg in the picture above for comparison). The lavender araucanas are a lovely grey colour and a very 'different' looking chicken. The hens are quite small when compared to some of the other breeds. Pure breed - cuckoo marans
	Marans hens lay a very deep brown egg of a good size. We keep cuckoo (black and white speckled)  marans. They are also a good dual purpose bird and were traditionally bred for their eggs and meat.
